Brick Wall Brenner had his second straight shut out for New York this weekend to help his team improve to 2-2 record this season. Speaking with the media, he credited his success to a stout defensive front. Tune in to New York's next game against Seattle on Saturday at 10 AM to watch him go for his 3rd straight shut out.
Thomas held down the fort in goal for the first game and made plenty big saves to keep the game tied going into half time. For the second half, coaches said we need a goal and decided to put Thomas at forward. Luckily, midway through the half, he was in the right place at the right time and netted a beautiful cross from Bryce to help Minnesota earn their first win against a very tough San Diego club.
After the 6:15 game, the Scheimann household was buzzing and didn't think this day could get any better. In rolls Cason for his game and ready to make some big plays. In typical big brother fashion, Cason stole the show for Austin, scoring 2 goals and adding an assist to secure a 3-0 win over St. Louis.
